The ESCRBCC offers an external anoxia service for treating artworks. This system uses a nitrogen generator connected to a sealed chamber that is individually manufactured for each piece to be processed. Wet or dry nitrogen is supplied, in accordance with the needs of the format, the environmental conditions and the state of conservation of the piece to be treated.
This facility is staffed by a team of technicians who carry out specific assessment with respect to measurements, materials, format and the state of conservation of the item to be treated. They will determine the types of treatment appropriate and their duration, according to individual requirements.
Those interested in using this service must request a quote, and provide the data and images of the item to be treated beforehand so that a personalised assessment may be made with respect to the treatment to be applied and the duration time required in each case.
