Kiril from Educacions.com, a website for finding and comparing higher education programmes around the world, is offering the “Study a Master’s Degree in Europe” scholarship, which is worth €5,000. The scholarship is open to students from any country who plan to study a Master’s degree in Europe in autumn 2021. The degree programme must be held in Europe, or online through distance learning from a European institute. Scholarships for Internships in Various Cultural Areas of the Department of Culture
Organised by the Department of Culture of the Catalan Government. Usually announced March-April.

  • Scholarships for internships in processing documentation, inventories and the classification of funds in the field of popular culture and ethnological heritage.
  • Scholarships for internships at provincial historical archives and at the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage in archives and document management.
  • Scholarships for internships in the protection and restoration of architectural cultural heritage.
  • Scholarships for internships in the Technical Board of the Department of Culture.
  • Scholarships for internships at the Library of Catalonia.

FORMAR-TE Scholarships: training and specialisation in skill subjects in the cultural bodies belonging to the Ministry of Culture and Sport

This contributes to the training of specialists in cultural management, librarianship and documentation, archives, conservation and the restoration of cultural assets, museology and artistic subjects, with a programme of theoretical and practical activities in cultural institutions under the Ministry of Culture and Sport.

Scholarships from the Department of Education
These scholarships promoted by the Catalan Government Department of Education for studies, research, mobility programmes or languages.

 

Postgraduate or Postdoctoral Scholarships from the “La Caixa” Social Project
The “La Caixa” bank social project is offering postgraduate scholarships in Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific region, as well as doctoral and postdoctoral scholarships in Spain and Portugal.

 

Fulbright Scholarships
These scholarships are intended for higher-level graduates to study or research in the USA, and are based on the academic excellence of the participants and their aptitudes in meeting the programmes’ objectives.

 

Iberdrola Scholarships
This International Scholarships Programme is aimed at students in their final year of studies, or recent graduates who want to extend their education at the best universities in the world.

 

Scholarships for Summer Courses in Germany at German Universities

The aim of this programme is to improve knowledge of the German language. The DAAD, the German Academic Exchange Service, is launching a scholarship programme with the aim of promoting the German language and culture. The scholarship costs €950 and applicants must be university students in a degree or master’s programme in any discipline, and they must have completed a minimum of two years of higher education courses at the start of the scholarship. These scholarships are usually announced in November.

 

Internships at the Guggenheim Museum in New York

The Guggenheim Museum in New York has announced a 3-month professional internship programme for people from all over the world. This stay programme lasts for approximately 3 months and the internship grant is USD 1,000 for a period of 10 weeks.

 

Candidate profile:

– Students, recent graduates, postgraduate or graduate students and professionals who wish to gain experience in the arts sector may apply for these internship grants.

Participants must have a good level of English.

The following must be sent with all requests:

– The completion of the Guggenheim Museum application form.

– A letter of motivation and a curriculum vitae.

– A list of relevant courses taken must be included.

– Two letters of recommendation (academic or professional).

– An essay (about 500 words) detailing the functions and responsibilities of an art museum and how you could contribute.
